MOTOROLA ONE FUSION+ REVIEW

Motorola’s track off lately has not been really good, due to which over a course of time its brand value has gone down. But, this time it is different, and seems like Motorola is ready to make a comeback with its all-new One Fusion+. We will review the Design, Specification , positives and negatives of this phone

DESIGN:

The least to say the new Motorola One Fusion+ has an attractive design that appeals to the eye.

The notch-less 6.5 inches IPS TFT LCD FHD+ display is surely going to give a great seamless viewing experience. Though, there is a small chin at the bottom but, it does not seem to bother much and does not take away anything from that full-screen display.

There is a single speaker system at the bottom of the phone, which gets a little distorted at higher volume, but overall it gives a pretty decent sound quality.

On the right side of the phone, you will find a power button and volume rocker, 3.5mm jack, and a USB port, whereas the left side is completely blank and clean.

The sim slot, a mic and the 16 mega-pixel pop-up selfie camera are all placed on the top of the phone. Apart from all of these, there is this one small earpiece at the top of the screen which almost seems unnoticeable.

This phone weighs around 210 grams, because of which some people may feel that it is a heavy phone. With its huge battery of 5000mAh, Motorola One Fusion+, sure feels like a thick gadget in hand.

Just like other budget-friendly phones by Motorola, the One Fusion+ also comes with a water-repellent coating, which is resistant against minor water splashes and is not a complete water-resistant device.

The front of the device does not have a gorilla glass protection, whereas the back is all plastic which goes over to the edges which means, it covers not only the entire back but also the sides. Along with that, the back of the phone also contains a physical fingerprint scanner and a quad-camera setup.

Despite having a plastic design the phone does not refrain from containing any finger-prints on the back.

POSITIVES:

  1. Due to the pop-up selfie camera system, Motorola One Fusion+ gives us a notch-less display and also supports HDR10, which in turn serves us an overall great viewing experience. The Widevine L1 design enhances that experience.
  2. It has great battery life, and if it is fully charged then its 5000mAh battery could last for one and a half days with regular usage and more than two days if used extensively.
  3. At this price the Snapdragon 730G processor, is more than one could ask for.
  4. The quad-camera set up is decent and has various shooting options, which includes Night vision as well.
  5. Along with WiFi calling, this phone also has FM Radio which most of the smartphones these days do not have.

NEGATIVES:

  1. The 3.01 inches of thickness and 210 grams of weight, makes this phone a fat phone, the least to say. Above that, the camera bump on the top left side of the back of the phone makes the weight of the phone unevenly distributed.
  2. It comes with a plastic back which also acts as a magnet for fingerprints, so you might want to consider putting it in a case.
  3. Despite, the LCD display, the brightness of the phone is unreasonably low. So you might face some difficulties while using this phone in the broad daylight.
  4. The screen of the phone does not carry protection, therefore, it is recommended to be a little cautious while handling this phone.
  5. The pop-up selfie camera is just way to slow. Now, we know why Motorola One Fusion+ does not have face unlock.
