The Last of Us TV Series trailer debut features tons of details

The Last of Us TV Series first trailer is finally out and, we just can not hold our excitement.

The series on the popular game has been under making at HBO for years, with Naughty Dog co-president and The Last of Us director Neil Druckmann working on it alongside Craig Mazin. The TV series features a phenomenal cast of actors including The Narcos star Pedro Pascal as Joel, with Ellie played by Game of Thrones actress Bella Ramsey.

After filming for nearly a year, the production of The Last of Us TV Series ended earlier this year in Calgary, Alberta. Since then, there had been so many rumors about the show to release in early 2023, and he trailer has at last confirmed it.

The trailer does remind of some of the most amazing moments of the game, which includes Outbreak Day itself, when the Cordyceps infection spread across America causing chaos.

Furthermore, other than Pascal and Ramsey, fans also got to see other significant characters from the game including Henry played by Nick Offerman and Riley Abel portrayed by Storm Reid. And finally something also showed up without which The Last of Us TV Series trailer would have remained incomplete and that is are very own Cordyceps-infected creatures in The Infected, as the clip ends on a wild look at the creepy Clicker.

The series will follow a similar storyline of the game, which revolved around Joel, as he attempts to safely transport Ellie across the post-apocalyptic United States, which is filled The Infected and other dangerous factions. While the release date is yet to be known, the show will arrive sometime in 2023 on HBO Max.

The series was shot across various Alberta locales, including parts of Okotoks and High River.

As per reports, the crew filmed in Okotoks in February and apparently they had to create fake snow because most of it had melted by that time of the year.

The series stars Pedro Pascal (The Mandalorian, Game of Thrones) and Bella Ramsey (Game of Thrones) in the lead roles of Joel and Ellie. It’s set to premiere sometime in 2023.
