Uncharted 5 update, Disappointing news for Fans

Uncharted 5 has been one of the most talked about and speculated topics of the gaming world for the longest time. Is Sony making Uncharted 5 has been a question to which fans have still not been able to find an answer.

Previously, after the success of The Last of Us Part II, there were rumors that Naughty Dog has started working on a new project, which could either be Uncharted 5, The last of Us Part III or some brand new title. But out of all three options, Uncharted 5 was being considered to be most accurate.

Now, there are some other rumors spreading around saying, that the next installment in the Uncharted series is under development but it is not being created by Naughty Dog, but under a new team at San Diego, the studio known for making MLB The Show Series. Where did this rumor come from ?

Well, during a live stream with Get Good, Nolan North confirmed that he does not know whether Sony is working on the new Uncharted game or not. He further added humourously that if the Uncharted 5 is in development and he doesn’t know about it, there will be problems. North, did not have anything else to say about Uncharted 5 which is bit of a surprise as in the past North inevitably has leaked something about the game. That said, if North was working on a new Uncharted game, you’d expect him to dodge the topic or at least utilize a classic “no comment.”

There is a huge possibility for Uncharted 5 not having Nathan Drake as the central character, especially how Uncharted 4 ended. But, as they say, “never say never”. At least we can expect to see him in a cameo.

However, at this point anything published about Uncharted 5 is going to be a speculation. We can neither confirm nor deny that the new Uncharted game is under development, further who is or will be developing the game also remains a surprise.

Best Buy PS5 Restock Surprise

Best Buy has surprised customers with its first PS5 restock this week. Best Buy has made sure to make both the standard version which comes at a price of $500 and the digital version of PlayStation 5 which comes at $100 lesser than the standard version available. While both consoles have been incredibly hard to find so far this year, the all-digital PS5 has been by far the harder of the two due to less stock. In fact, across Costco, Target, GameStop, and other restocks this week, many had no all-digital stock at all, at least on sale.

That said, unlike many restocks this week, this new one from Best Buy is being lauded for its success rate. Typically, typing “Best Buy PS5” into Twitter provides nothing but disappointed and upset customers. And of course, there are some customers that ran into website issues and a lack of stock near them, but there’s also been a ton celebrating their orders, or at least way more than normal.
