SONY REVEALED PLAYSTATION 5

We all love playing video games and we all love doing that on a PlayStation. Sony has finally revealed the all new PlayStation 5 design, specifications and games.

Sony has always been at the top of the chart as far as gaming consoles are concerned. With its critically acclaimed PlayStation line, right from PS1 to PS4, Sony has always tried pushing the envelope and create something bigger and better. For the last 6 years PS4 has ruled over the gaming world and its successor, the PS5 tends to carry on the custom and do the same thing.

Sony unveiled the all-new PlayStation 5 or simply called PS5, in the second week of June 2020. PlayStation 4 is one of the most popular gaming consoles ever made, where it had more than 106 million units sold as of January 2020, which makes it stand at second position behind PlayStation 2, which had a total sale of more than 150 million units.

Now let us discuss details and specification of the all-new PlayStation 5:

DESIGN:

There are some major changes in the design of PS5 and it is way more different from all its predecessors. It has been designed to stand vertically which can also be placed horizontally and, it dons a black and white finish, However, this time white is the primary color, unlike the usual only black finish. The controller has the same color scheme.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Sony revealed that there will be two editions of PlayStation 5, i.e, the standard PS5, which would have a 4K Blu-Ray deep-drive(also 8K compatible), which is the new custom AMD compute unit-based Tempest Engine and the other one being, the Digital Edition which would only play Digital games.

Apart from that, there is also a major upgrade in the CPU and GPU of the console. The 8 core AMD Zen 2 CPU and PS5’s custom AMD RDNA 2 GPU will provide a power of 10.28 teraFLOPS. Along with that, this new console will have a proprietary 825GB SSD, with expandable memory which implies, that users will be able to increase the storage, there will be faster-loading speed, etc.

Talking about the Controller of PS5, which has got even more attention than the actual console itself, has witnessed some major upgrades. Besides, the amazingly futuristic design, it has been installed with some brilliant features such as; Adaptive Trigger, Hapatick Feedback. Moreover, it would also come with a USB port, Dedicated Headphone Jack, Motion Sensor, etc. But out of all of these, Adaptive Trigger and Haptick are the ones to look for.

Besides that ,the PS5 will be accompanied with some other accessories as well to enhance our gaming experience, like HD Camera, Head Phone and Magic Remote, etc.
