Uncharted Collection could be the next big treat for people who were expecting Sony to begin releasing its PlayStation exclusive titles for PC. After the massive success of some of the other PlayStation exclusives such as Death Stranding, Days Gone, and Horizon Zero Dawn on PC, people began having high hopes for Uncharted Collection, which happens to be the one of the biggest exclusive titles on PlayStation, to be the next in the list. Much of this speculation stemmed from a leaked Sony presentation that specifically named Uncharted 4 among games that could be brought over to PC.

Now, it appears like there is going to be a slight change in the plan. Where, previously Uncharted Collection for PS4 had only three games in it, i.e, Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, this time Uncharted The Nathan Drake Collection for PC will feature all 5 games in the series, including Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and critically-acclaimed spin-off Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.

No need for a PS5?

So, you must be thinking do you really need a PS5 anymore? Now maybe you have two killer gaming PCs that will shred the PS5 and Xbox Series X into pieces when in terms of performance.

And, if games like Uncharted Collection, start loosing their exclusivity and begin coming on PC, then their should be all the more reason to avoid investing in buying a PlayStation 5, when you can play the same games on your PC with highest graphic settings, RIGHT ?

However, it is not that simple. For starters, Sony exclusives may have started coming to PC, but that takes a few years to arrive. So if ever. a new Uncharted game comes out, then you may not be able to wait, and might end up buying a PS5 anyway.

There’s also the fact that while a growing number of Sony games are coming to PC, not all of them are. So, I may still need to invest in a PS5 if a killer app comes along.

So, while this leak isn’t confirmed, I feel its likely enough to put my PS5 buying plans on hold (which to be fair they already were, considering how hard it is to buy the bloody thing).

In the end, it can not be denied that it would be yet another big win for PC gamers, it Uncharted Collection is actually released on PC.
