In this game the players have to reduce an opponent’s health bar to nothing, using cards based on characters, scenes and objects from the Uncharted series.

It got mixed reviews from websites like, Metacritic, Edge Magazine, IGN, Pocket Gamer, etc.

7. UNCHARTED: FORTUNE HUNTER:

6. UNCHARTED: GOLDEN ABYSS:

Uncharted: Golden Abyss is an action-adventure game developed by SIE Bend Studio and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for PlayStation Vita.

It was first released in Japan in 2011, and then in other parts of the world in 2012, as a spin-off of the Uncharted series.

The story revolves around treasure hunter Nathan Drake, as he is on a quest to find the lost city of Quivira. It is a prequel to the uncharted series, and takes place before the events of Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune.

Just like mainstream Uncharted games, the gameplay is a combination of cover-based third person shooting, combating, stealth, puzzle solving, etc, making it a legitimate action-adventure game.

5. UNCHARTED: DRAKE’S FORTUNE:

Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, is an action-adventure game developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Computer Entertainment.

It was released, in November 2007 for PlayStation 3, and remastered for PlayStation 4 in October 2015, as one of the three games of the Nathan Drake collection (the other two are, Among Thieves and Drake’s Deception), just to give people who were not familiar with Uncharted games, an overview of Drake’s story in the first three parts, before they play the final chapter of Drake’s life (Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End).

It was the first installment of the Uncharted franchise, and the game where it all started.

The game revolves, around Nathan Drake, a supposed descendant of Sir Francis Drake, as he seeks the lost treasure of El Dorado, with the help of journalist Elena Fisher and mentor Victor Sullivan.

Being an action-adventure game with third-person perspective, this game surely had some really smooth gaming mechanics, due to which could jump, hang, swing, swim, fight, and perform various other acrobatic actions.

4. UNCHARTED 3: DRAKE’S DECEPTION:

The third installment in the mainstream Uncharted series, Uncharted 3 Drake’s Deception, was developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Computer Entertainment.

It was released for PlayStation 3 in November 2011, and for PlayStation 4 as part of Uncharted: Nathan Drake collection in October 2015.

Nathan Drake, the protagonist of the story, partners with Victor Sullivan who is his mentor and the only person close to a father figure in his life, in the search of the legendary Lost city of Iram of the Pillars. Whilst competing with a group of mercenaries led by Sullivan’s former employer, Katherine Marlowe, our heroes get support from characters like, Elena Fisher, Chloe Frazer and Charlie Cutter.

Though the game was critically acclaimed, where it received 92/100 from Metacritic along with many accolades from various other game critics, and was also considered to be one of the best games of 2011, it did not go very well with the general public, and at times it is even believed to be the least favorite Uncharted game.

For many, the game was sloppy and could not manage to keep the players engaged. It seemed like, the developers designed the set-pieces first, and then created a story around it, which did give enough motivation to some players to make Drake do what he does.

However, in terms of set-pieces or locations, such as the castle in Syria or the Rub’ al Khali dessert or maybe, the sequences like, plane crashing, ship sinking, horse chase or chasing Talbot, could quite possibly make this game the most beautiful looking game of the franchise.

3. UNCHARTED: THE LOST LEGACY:

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is a 2017 action-adventure game, and like all the other AAA Uncharted games, it has been developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 4.

It is a sequel spin-off to Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, and for the very first time, it became an Uncharted game, that did not feature Nathan Drake as the protagonist.

Players instead play with Chloe Frazer, a former ally of Nathan Drake, who first featured in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and later for a brief period in Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. She gets help from ex-mercenary Nadine Ross and Nathan Drake’s brother, Samuel Drake, who were seen for the very first time in Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.

This game is set majorly set in Western Ghats mountain ranges in India, where the three characters are on a quest to search for the tusk of Lord Ganesh, while they are in conflict with Asav and his army of insurgents.

Coming out of Uncharted 4, this game was refreshing. For the first time, an Uncharted game was based on an open-world platform, where Chloe along with Nadine, travels to different areas of Western Ghats, while taking down enemies, in order to search for clues leading to the tusk of Ganesh.

Right from the beginning, the story keeps you on your toes until the very satisfying ending. Apart from that, a very well crafted gameplay, adapted from Uncharted 4 enhances the experience even more.

2. UNCHARTED 4: A THIEF’S END:

This the fourth and the final chapter in the story of Nathan Drake, according to the developers of the game, i.e, Naughty Dog.

The plot of the game is set several years after the events of Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, where Nathan Drake has retired from treasure hunting and living a normal life with Elena Fisher as a married couple. Due to some turn of events, he later returns from retirement to help his brother, Samuel find the lost treasure of Henry Avery.

You may also see some familiar characters in the game such as, Victor Sullivan and Elena Fisher.

Along with an amazing story, Naughty Dog were successful in creating and showcasing the relationships shared by Nathan with his brother, Samuel and his long time beloved and now wife, Elena. The developers very beautifully humanized all the characters.

Since, this was alleged that, this would be the last Uncharted game for Nathan Drake, Naughty made sure they don’t leave any stone unturned. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, in a very subtle manner, succeeds in making the players reminisce all the moments they had playing all Uncharted games.

As far as the gameplay is concerned, then besides the classic Uncharted gaming mechanics, the game has improved Artificial Intelligence. The environment also this time is more involving, and provides different options and ways to players to combat enemies.

1. UNCHARTED 2: AMONG THIEVES:

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Computer Entertainment in 2009 for PlayStation 3 and later for PlayStation 4 in 2015, as part of Nathan Drake Collection, is by far the best Uncharted game ever made.

This game without the shadow of a doubt, was way ahead of its time, that brought in a revolution in the gaming industry, and even laid a foundation for ‘The Last Of Us‘. It inspired a new generation of action games, and also established Naughty Dog as one of the biggest game developers in the world.

The larger than life graphics along with classy visuals combined with fine story-telling and spectacular gameplay made this game a masterpiece and garnered the game huge critical and universal acclaim. This resulted in, the game selling over 8 million copies worldwide, and also winning the ‘Game of the Year’ award.

This game is set two years after the events of Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, where the protagonist, Nathan Drake, partners with Chloe Frazer and Elena Fisher, to find the Cintamani Stone and the city of Shambhala. During this they battle against Zoran Lazarvic, leading a group of mercenaries.

All in all, this is till date considered to be one of the best sequels in the history of video games, and one of the finest works of Naughty Dog.

P.S- You have to check out the opening of this game.
