GTA 6 might Finally be announced by Rockstar, Leaker revealed

GTA 6 has been the most anticipated game for the longest time. Fans have been eagerly waiting for Rockstar to announce a release date for Grand Theft Auto 6 , so that they can mark their calendars brace themselves for the pre-order.

However, it seems like fans will have to wait for some more time for the game to come out. A prominent movie insider, ViewerAnon, who has leaked the plot of several blockbuster films such as, Star Wars and Marvel films, has now turned his attention towards the gaming industry.

According to ViewerAnon, Rockstar has scheduled to release the game sometime late in year 2023, or at least this was the internal release date as of last year. Having said that, it is possible that this date may get changed and probably shifted to 2024 due to the ongoing pandemic. However, at the moment of publishing, Rockstar Games and its parent company, Take-Two Interactive, have not commented on this report, and we don’t expect this to change.

According to the leaker, Rockstar will continue to keep a silent stand on this topic and may not reveal anything about GTA 6 until GTA V’s next-gen upgrade is released. Rockstar would not want to take way people’s attention from the expanded version of GTA 5 which is likely to be released later this year.

Further, ViewerAnon mentions that, Red Dead Redemption 2 was announced one full year before its original release date, so we could expect the release of GTA 6 in a similar fashion. “Expect GTA VI to be announced late next year,” he said, but noted that global health issues could have pushed the reveal back from 2022.

All in all, if GTA 6 gets released in 2023 or in the worst case scenario if the game gets pushed to 2024, it would presumably a current-gen only game, which is to say, a PS5, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series S game, with a PC port likely coming after release like it has for GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2.
